Past generation´s vision of the future

Decorated and ornamented details characterize the look of Autumn 2008. The shapes are sculptured and built in to volume by using padding techniques. You find seemingly chaotic rope structures evolving into cable like details. The softness of braided ornaments contrasts to broken pleats inspired by deconstructed glass buildings. Technical features in choice of materials, however accentuated by technical accessories such as deconstructed metal zippers used to decorate. The womens collection is gently deconstructured, softness in shapes and materials. In combination we have challenged manufacturing by adding traditional mens tailoring in womens coats. Width and volume is the silhouette, often created by doubling the fabric. The mens collection contain many garments where the style is doubled or stands as a hybrid between garments - a play with definitions. The colours; black and white with a deep emerald green as an accent together with skin tones, sand and winter white.

I walk the line Johnnys Cash Band Phil Younger

LIVE AT DENELEQUIN I WALK THE LINEJohnny Cash, born JR Cash, (February 26, 1932 -- September 12, 2003) was a Grammy Award-winning American country singer-songwriter. Cash is widely considered to be one of the most influential American musicians of the 20th century. Cash was known for his deep, distinctive voice, the boom-chick-a-boom or "freight train" sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, his demeanor, and his dark clothing, which earned him the nickname "The Man in Black". He traditionally started his concerts with the introduction "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." Much of Cash's music, especially that of his later career, echoed themes of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption. His signature songs include "I Walk the Line", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Ring of Fire", "That Old Wheel" (a duet with Hank Williams Jr.), "Cocaine Blues", and "Man in Black". He also recorded several humorous songs, such as "One Piece at a Time", "The One on the Right Is on the Left", "Dirty Old Egg-Sucking Dog" and "A Boy Named Sue"; rock-and-roll numbers such as "Get Rhythm"; and various railroad songs, such as "Rock Island Line" and "Orange Blossom Special". He sold over 90 million albums in his nearly fifty-year career and came to occupy a "commanding position in music history"From 1969 to 1971, Cash starred in his own television show, The Johnny Cash Show, on the ABC network. The singing group The Statler Brothers opened up for him in every episode. Other notable artists who appeared on his ...

James Morrison - Man in the mirror, cover Michael Jackson @ Paradiso, Amsterdam

James Morrison performing the beautiful song by Michael Jackson at Paradiso, Amsterdam during his concert. This was a kind of tribute to Michael, though he performed it before. Thanks James! I recorded this song in black/white because the quality of the video wasn't that good because of the light (and my mobile phone) so I decided to record it in black/white. Hope it doesn't bother you, and if so: I'm sorry. Rest in peace Michael...Still miss you every single day Enjoy this song and think about it. Make that change!

Edwing DAngelo - Fall Winter 2011

Edwing D'Angelo - Fall Winter 2011 Given his family background in tailoring, Edwing D'Angelo did not disappoint in his Fall Winter 2010 runway show. An homage to the timeless elegance of the 40's and 50's, his collection featured finely constructed pieces in sumptuous fabrics like silk organza, Italian wool, and bridal satin. Without a puckered seam or unfinished hem in sight, D'Angelo's handcrafted creations were on par with those of Parisian couture houses. For women, D'Angelo sought to cater to the needs of the modern New Yorker. He dealed his designs mainly in black but with surprising accents. Topped in veiled and plumed pillbox hats, models paraded down the runway in flounced organza skirts and body-conscious lace sheaths. While a daring, though minimally functional, gold lamé ruffled cape dazzled the audience, the clear favorite was a black, feathered ball gown accented with an oversize red bow. However, the biggest showstoppers of the night were the Great Danes led by some of the models, adding a dramatic, yet distracting, element to the show. For men, D'Angelo favored neatly tailored three-piece suits accented with his signature red-orange lining. While the majority of the looks were harmonious in their classic sophistication, certain pieces rang discordantly—namely, a lacquered black crocodile blazer that was more reminiscent of glam rock than post-war fashion. Hermès Fall/Winter 2009/10 Full Show [Crystal Clear Quality]

Full edited show - Original Soundtrack - For collection review please click info... Review: A full squadron of female flying aces took off at Hermès. There were multiple propellers turning in the background, accompanied by soundtracks from Casablanca, etc., etc.—just in case some dullard in the house (or rather, the inhospitable concrete warehouse) didn't immediately get the meaning of the Amelia Earhart/Amy Johnson headgear and bomber jackets. Jean Paul Gaultier's old-school pun mania can be trying at times, but on this occasion he, well, winged it with aplomb. It's a season of leather, after all, and since Hermès is the ultimate seat of luxurious skins and superb tooling, the conceit gave full vent to the house expertise. There were fur-collared crocodile bombers, leather jumpsuits, and mink-lined gilets. These were mixed with flannel pants, gray tunic knits (some patched with astrakhan), super-slim leg-hugging suede boots, and matte gray Kelly bags. Women in uniform is another aspect of the forties mood that's floating around this Fall, so the spirit of Gaultier's show cross-referenced knowingly with the mainstream flow of fashion. In truth, though, Hermès' appeal is most persuasive when the styling is at its furthest distance from seasonal trendiness. That's especially the case in an era when such costly purchases should come with a lifetime guarantee of utility. Thus, a gray-flannel toggle coat with a generous hood (zippered like an MA-1) stood out over the more ...
